DIGICEL CELEBRATES NEW PREPAID LAUNCH IN A BIG WAY!

THE VALLEY, ANGUILLA: Digicel the fastest growing telecommunications company in the Caribbean, welcomed their new unlimited prepaid plans, U Talk and U Text, to the Anguillian market on January 15th 2010. The company assures all prepaid customers that they can continue to expect great value and savings from Digicel with our new unlimited prepaid plans.

The U Talk packages, allow Digicel’s prepaid customers to talk unlimited to all Digicel local and regional numbers for 30 days at $150 EC or 7 days at $40 EC. Digicel has also made U Talk local available to their valued customers at only $25 EC for 7 days of unlimited talk on all local Digicel calls.

U Text gives prepaid customers 7 days of unlimited text messaging for only $7 EC to any local mobile number. To active any of these value plans simply dial *134# and follow the prompts to select a package that is right for you.

As an introductory offer, Digicel will be activating our new local U Talk plan for free on all new prepaid accounts opened at the store in the Babrow Building.

On Friday January 29th 2010, commencing at 4:30pm, Digicel will be holding a HELP HAITI public event where we will be offering a limited number of free activations of the unlimited packages, U Talk and U Text, to our current and potential customers.

This important event will take place at the Gazebo on the Ruthwil Auditorium grounds in the Valley. There will be various boxes on site for the residents of Anguilla to donate their clothing and shoes to the victims in Haiti. There will also be various tributes from Anguilla’s talent such as; Klassique Dance Academy, The Pepper Steppers, Dred Ites, Omalie and Deanna Mussington, the Digicel talent winner 2009.
