The children were delightful, and such quick learners. They ware all very enthusiastic, and once they got into it, they did a fabulous job in recording this long awaited Jingle. The jingle was written for the AHTA with the kind compliments of much loved Calypsonian the Mighty Springer, who was very enthusiastic about the project from the very first moment he was approached. Springer brought that same enthusiasm to the recording studio, and took immediate control of the recording session, and everything else just fell into place. “Springer did a fabulous job with the children,” Said Mrs. Gilda Gumbs-Samuel, Executive Director of the AHTA. “ It is very important that we continue to keep the message of the importance of keeping Anguilla clean in the public’s eyes and ears,” she said. “It is hopeful that we will have the jingle played over the various radio stations on the island, in effort to start the ball rolling on the education, and importance of a clean Anguilla, as we think education is the key. We are hopeful that we will be able to start airing the jingle no later than next week.” Mrs. Gumbs indicated. Our thanks go to Mr. Justin Richardson, Springer, Princess, Shakarie, Lavida, Josiah, Rodondo, Xander, Keisha, Myisha, Brielle, Jaylene, Rhonica, Kyiv and Nandi .
