New Senior Magistrate, Ms Ivenia Benjamin, Sworn In By Governor Harrison
(Old Ta, Anguilla) HE Alistair Harrison today (7 April) swore in the new Senior Magistrate, Ms Ivenia Benjamin, in a ceremony in the Governor's Office. The Governor welcomed Ms Benjamin to the island and wished her well in her new and important duties.
Ms Benjamin is a citizen of Dominica.
In making the announcement of her impending appointment in early March, the Governor had described Magistrate Benjamin as having had experience in Dominica as a magistrate, in the Attorney General's chambers and in private practice.
