As the 2014 Volleyball World Cup hastens, qualifying tournaments are slated to begin next year.  Consequently the Anguilla Amateur Volleyball Association has selected a group of 21 males and 17 females to begin preparation for next year’s matches.

Anguilla’s males will be grouped with Honduras, Bahamas and French St. Martin.   Matches for this grouping will be played in French St. Martin and are tentatively slated for March 21st -26th. Each grouping will consist of four teams and for the first time the top three teams will advance to the second round.

The women’s grouping is tentatively composed of Honduras, Dutch St. Maarten, Nicaragua and Anguilla.  These matches will be played in Honduras and the date for these games will be verified in January.

The squads are being coached by Mr. Justus Connor (Anguilla national female coach) and Mr. Jason Liburd (former UVI Coach).
