Cruise Ship Amadea Cancels Visit Due to Heavy Swells

The cruise ship, Amadea's, planned arrival to Sandy Ground Anguilla on "Old Year's Day" - New Year's Eve, 2011 would have added to what appears to have been a very successful holiday season for the tourism industry on the island. The anticipated visit however did not materialise, due, according to tourism officials, to heavy swells. Hopes are now for a successful port stop at the end of January.
