THE VALLEY, Anguilla - A deep low pressure area is affecting Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The system is drifting eastwards and will bring cloudiness moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms to Anguilla. A flash flood advisory is in effect for Anguilla.
 

Skies in Anguilla will become increasingly cloudy with scattered to numerous moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms.

The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service has issued a flash flood advisory for low lying areas and flood prone areas of Anguilla until 4PM today.

A flood advisory means that streams, creeks and drains may be elevated or even overflowing into streets, low lying and flood prone areas. however, property damage will be minimal. Inconveniences can be expected but the flooding will not be immediately life threatening.

Winds: Southeast 8 - 10 kts becoming light and variable or calm tonight.

Seas: Slight to moderate; wave 3 - 5 ft or 1 - 1.5 M.

Barometric Pressure: Near normal

Residents and visitors should continue to listen to Radio Anguilla, local Radio and Television Stations for updates. The next advisory will be issued when necessary.
