Anguilla Experiencing Heavy Rains - Official Advisory Pending
The Department of Disaster Management in Anguilla is advising the public, that Anguilla is experiencing extremely heavy rains that were not forecast by Antigua.
The Department further advised that it contacted them earlier this morning to re-assess the weather and provide an updated official forecast so they can provide an advisory. They are currently doing so.
Antigua Barbuda is Anguilla’s official meteorological service.
Please avoid unnecessary travel in heavy rains as you may become stranded in deep pockets and are at greater risk. Please shelter in place.
Please contact Mrs Elizabeth Klute, Director, at the Department of Disaster Management for additional information at 1-264-476-3622
