Anguilla National Youth Council's AGM and General Elections, slated for 15th of March 2010.

(The Valley, Anguilla) - The Anguilla National Youth Council will be electing a new executive committee at their General Assembly Meeting scheduled for Monday, 15th March 2010 at the Teachers’ Resource Centre. Meeting commences at 6:30 pm.

All registered group members are asked to make a special effort to attend the meeting. Furthermore, registered groups are also encouraged to submit nominations for elections before March 12th 2010. The positions to be voted on are; President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Asst. Secretary/ Treasurer, and Public Relations Officer.

The new executive will serve for a term of two years.

The Ministry of Social Development, Department of Youth and Culture, and the Anguilla National Youth Council’ Election committee encourage all organizations to participate in this event and also advise organizations who have not yet registered with the National Youth Council, to do so, so as to be qualified to vote. Nomination and registration forms can be obtained at the Department of Youth and Culture, the Anguilla Public Library and at the Department of Sports and Recreation.
