The
NBA Peter Perkins Memorial Boat Race and Fun Day was held at
Sandy Ground today Sunday, July 22, 2007 exactly one week
after inclement weather forced its
postponement.
In contrast to last weekend, the weather on Sunday was
lovely
with a steady but not overly strong wind and bright sunshine
interrupted only briefly by a late afternoon shower.
The race route took the boats from Sandy Ground to
Rendezvous and back.
The first three places for the Race were:
- Sonic
- Eagle
