Basseterre, St. Kitts – The St. Kitts Marriott Resort
associates displayed their SPIRIT TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY by
organizing and participating in a clean-up campaign along
Zen Boulevard leading to “The Strip” in Frigate Bay on
Monday 3rd November.
This was the final event for Marriott’s Global Customer
Appreciation Week. Marriott customers all around the world
were not only thanked for their business but also learned
more about Marriott’s green initiatives under the theme
“Spirit to Preserve for a Greener Tomorrow”.
Associates of the St Kitts Marriott displayed their
appreciation with a week of activities that began with a
Customer Appreciation Reception on the Friday 24th October
and culminated with the Clean- up campaign on Monday 3rd
November.
Another major activity for this week was visits to the
Resort’s top customers in St. Kitts. In partnership with
Rashema’s Nursery who provided palm trees, the Sales &
Events teams presented the customers along with the palm
trees additional gifts and information on Marriott’s Green
initiatives both globally and locally as well as tips in
reducing, reusing and recycling.
