Customers can access email, web
browsing, Facebook and many more features while on the move
Kingston, Jamaica – Wednesday, December 3rd: Digicel, the
fastest growing mobile operator in the Caribbean and new
entrant to the Central American market, today announced the
availability of its prepaid service for BlackBerry®
smartphones.
Initially launching in Jamaica, the British Virgin Islands,
Trinidad & Tobago and the Cayman Islands, the prepaid
service will be available to both new and existing
BlackBerry smartphone users across all Digicel markets in
the Caribbean and Central America over the coming months.
The prepaid service is affordable, easy to use and available
for every BlackBerry smartphone in Digicel’s offering.
Customers can subscribe to a weekly or monthly plan via text
message - providing they have sufficient credit. There is no
activation fee for this service. Towards the end of the
subscription period, customers receive a text message
reminding them to top up their account for the service to
continue.
