Phil Green will be relinquishing his position as President & CEO of LIME’s Jamaica business with effect from January 1st, 2009 to undertake several additional non-executive roles for the Cable & Wireless International business. He remains Chairman of LIME Caribbean and Chairman of Cable & Wireless’ Macau business.

Richard Dodd, CEO of LIME Caribbean said: “Phil took on the Jamaica assignment at a most difficult time in August of 2007 and has worked tirelessly to stabilize and turn around the business. The results of his efforts are clearly demonstrated in the recently released financials for the first half of the current financial year.”

“We always knew that this was a short term assignment for Phil, and the time has come for him to move on to contribute in other areas and in other ways to the C&W International Group.”

Geoff Houston, currently Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Jamaica will take on the recently created role of Country Manager for the Jamaica business. Geoff has several years experience in our businesses in Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Bermuda where he was CEO, and has been working in the business over the last six months as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In a previous assignment in Jamaica, Geoff was the Senior Vice President Integrated Services.
